200 grams thinly sliced Matzo
2 liters freshly cooked Vegetable broth (or instant vegetable broth)

Preparation steps

Beat the eggs and mix thoroughly with the butter, water, salt and pepper. Add in the matzo bread and leave for 20 minutes. With moistened hands, form medium-sized dumplings from the dough.

Bring the broth to a boil and cook the dumplings over medium heat for 20 minutes in the boiling broth, until they float to the surface and are cooked. Serve the matzo dumplings in the hot vegetable broth.
