Preparation steps

Chop the onions, bay leaf and clove. Rinse and coarsely chop the soup vegetables. Place the meat, bone and vegetables in a large pot. Pour in enough cold water to cover everything. Bring to a boil and season with salt and peppercorns. Cook over medium heat for about 2 hours. Skim off the foam and stirr occasionally. Pour the broth through a sieve and serve.
