- 250 grams Italian sausage
- 250 grams ground pork
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsps breadcrumbs
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 60 grams sun-dried Tomatoes (in oil)
- 200 grams softened cream cheese
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsps finely chopped Shelled pistachio
- 1 bunch Cress
- 1 handful Radicchio
- 1 Focaccia (bread)
Preparation steps

Remove the sausage from the casing and combine with the ground pork, egg and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper and mix well with hands. Form the mixture into 12 small meatballs. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan and cook the meatballs for about 8 minutes, until browned on all sides.

Drain the sun-dried tomatoes and mix with the cream cheese, lemon juice and pistachios. Season with salt and pepper.

Rinse the cress and radicchio and pat dry.

Slice the focaccia bread in half lengthwise and cut into 12 squares. Spread the cream cheese mixture on the bottom half, top with a meatball, a bit of cress and radicchio and the top half of the focaccia. Secure closed with toothpicks or small skewers and serve immediately.
