- 18 ozs lean Ground beef
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper
- To serve
- Lettuce
- 8 slices Tomatoes
- 8 slices gherkins
- 8 slices Red onions
- shaved Parmesan
Preparation steps

Heat the grill.

Place the minced beef in a mixing bowl with the onion. Season well with salt and pepper and mix by hand until combined.

Shape the mixture into 8 mini burgers.

Grill for about 3 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
5.
To serve: arrange the lettuce on a serving plate. Place the tomato slices on top and the gherkin slices on top of the tomatoes, followed by the red onion slices.
6.
Place a mini burger on top of each and top with a Parmesan shaving.
