- 1 day-old White roll
- 75 milliliters lukewarm milk
- 1 onion
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 600 grams mixed Ground meat
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp spicy Mustard
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- 2 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- breadcrumbs as needed (2-3 tablespoons)
- vegetable oil (for cooking)
- 1 pc fresh Horseradish (about 4 cm)
Preparation steps

Soak bread in milk. Peel and chop onion finely. Heat butter in a pan and saute onion until translucent. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Combine with meat, soaked bread, egg, mustard, onion, marjoram and parsley, mix well. Season with salt and pepper. If mixture is too thin, add breadcrumbs. Make patties our of meat mixture. Heat oil in a pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve with freshly grated horseradish and cucumber salad, if desired.
