- 800 grams Ground beef
- 100 grams smoked Bacon
- 125 grams Gruyere
- 2 stale White rolls
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsps finely chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsps cooked Rice
- 1 onion
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 red Bell pepper
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
Preparation steps
1.
Soak the bread in lukewarm water.

Peel the onion and finely dice and sauté in hot butter until translucent.
3.
Finely dice the bacon. Cut the cheese into cubes.
4.
Rinse peppers, trim, cut in half, remove seeds and cut into cubes.
5.
Squeeze the soaked bread and mix with the ground beef, bacon, diced cheese, eggs, parsley, onion, peppers, and rice and season with salt and pepper.
6.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a roasting dish coated with oil. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (approximately 375°F) upper and lower heat for 50-60 minutes.
7.
Serrve with mixed greens salad, if desired.
