Preparation steps

Rinse the spinach, spin dry and chop coarsely. Peel the onion and chop. Cook in hot oil until translucent and ​​stir in the spinach. Chop the tomatoes coarsely, mix in and remove from the heat. Season with salt and pepper and let cool slightly.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Soak the bread in lukewarm water. Place the minced meat in a bowl. Add the expressed roll and the egg. Season with salt, pepper, thyme and marjoram and mix everything well. Add enough breadcrumbs so the mixture is easily malleable. Shape on a work surface strewn with crumbs to a rectangle about 1.5 cm (approximately 5/8 inch) thick. Spread the spinach on top and roll. Seal the edges and ends and press well. Carefully place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven until golden brown, about 1 hour.
