28 ozs Tofu
soy sauce
18 ozs mixed Ground meat
1 chili pepper (finely chopped)
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
12 Banana leaf about 15 x 5 cm (6" x 2")

Preparation steps

1.
Cut the tofu into 24 cubes and marinate in plenty of soy sauce for about 30 minutes.
2.
Mix the minced meat with the chilli, ginger and garlic. Season with a little soy sauce and form into 12 balls.
3.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease a baking dish.
4.
Place a meatball in the center of each banana leaf, put a cube of tofu on either side and wrap the banana leaf around them. Secure with cocktail sticks and place in the baking dish.
5.
Cook in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
