- ⅜ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 4 slices Bread (thick cut, from a loaf baked in a tin)
- 2 Peaches (or nectarines, sliced into wedges)
- ⅜ cup double cream (whipped)
- Nut brittle
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Preparation steps

Whisk together the milk and eggs. Heat the butter in a pan. Dip the bread in the milk and egg mixture and fry on both sides for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Remove the toast from the pan, drain on kitchen paper and arrange on plates. Arrange the peach wedges on top, add a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with nut brittle. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
