50 grams butter
1 ⅕ liters Broth (homemade or instant)

Preparation steps

1.

Peel onions and garlic. Cut onions into thin slices. Melt butter in a saucepan and saute onions over low heat until onions caramelize.

Squeeze garlic through a press into pan. Add about 11/2 liters (approximately 50 ounces) broth. Let simmer for about 45 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Add white wine and season to taste. Serve hot.
