- 2 eggs
- 150 grams sugar
- 2 Tbsps Vanilla sugar
- ½ tsp Orange zest
- 60 milliliters Canola oil
- 250 grams Pastry flour
- 4 tsps Baking powder
- 30 grams ground almonds
- 80 grams chopped almonds
- 280 milliliters milk
- Fat (for the pan)
- 12 candied Oranges
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, orange zest and oil until creamy. Mix the flour, baking powder, ground almonds and chopped almonds. Alternately stir the milk and flour mixture into the egg mixture. Pour the batter into a greased muffin tray. Bake for about 15 minutes. Place the candied orange slices on the muffins and bake for another 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, cool and serve.
