32 ozs fresh Asparagus (rinsed and trimmed)
2 Tbsps good-quality olive oil
kosher salt (to taste)
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
1 lemon (juiced)

Preparation steps

Position oven rack in the top third of the oven. Preheat oven to 400˚ F.

Spread asparagus in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus. Roll the asparagus on the baking sheet to thoroughly coat with oil. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Bake until the spears are lightly browned and asparagus is just tender, about 15 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and grate lemon zest over the asparagus. Drizzle with lemon juice. Serve immediately.
