12 Italian white bread (ciabatta)
200 milliliters olive oil
2 garlic cloves
4 Tbsps Red wine vinegar
500 grams Tomatoes
1 red onion
½ bunch Basil (roughly chopped)
salt
peppers (from the mill)

Preparation steps

1.

Core tomatoes and cut into quarters and then into wedges.

2.

Tear the bread into large pieces.

3.

Peel the onion, cut in half lengthwise and cut into strips.

4.

Whisk together the oil, vinegar, and pressed garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over the bread, onion and tomatoes. Mix and chill for about 2 hours. 

Serve at room temperature garnished with the basil.
