400 grams Fusilli
150 grams Bacon (thinly sliced)
2 Red onions
1 garlic clove
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp scallions
1 tsp parsley (chopped)
2 sprigs marjoram
salt
peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Cook pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Peel onions nad cut into wedges. Peel garlic and chop finely, cut bacon into bite-sized pieces. 

2.

Heat oil in a pan, saute bacon briefly. Add onions and garlic and saute for a few minutes. Deglaze pan with 4-6 tablespoons of pasta water and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Drain pasta and add to the pan. Add herbs and season with salt and pepper. 

3.

Garnish with marjoram and serve.
