500 grams Spaghetti
salt
1 bunch Arugula (about 100 grams)
400 grams Cherry tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsps olive oil
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving some the cooking water. Meanwhile, rinse, trim and spin arugula dry. Rinse and halve tomatoes. Peel garlic.

In a pan, heat oil. Press garlic through a garlic press into the pan and cook until translucent. Add spaghetti, tomatoes and 2-3 tablespoons reserved pasta cooking water. Toss briefly, season with salt and pepper and divide pasta among warmed plates.

3.

Sprinkle pasta with arugula. Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
