- 400 grams Goat sausage
- 400 grams Pumpkin (such as Muscat)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 shallot
- 60 grams smoked Pancetta
- 2 bay leaves
- 100 milliliters dry Red wine
- 500 grams peeled Tomatoes (canned)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 400 grams Penne
Preparation steps

Squeeze sausage from the casing and divide into coarse pieces. Cut pumpkin pulp into bite-sized pieces. Peel garlic and shallot and chop finely. Dice bacon and cook in a hot frying pan for a few minutes. Add sausage pieces, shallot and garlic and saute briefly. Add pumpkin and saute briefly, deglaze pan with wine. Add bay leaves and coarsely chopped tomatoes with their juices, season with salt and pepper and simmer for about 20 minutes on medium heat.

Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente.

Drain pasta and toss with the sauce. Arrange in warmed plates and serve.
