16 King prawn (peeled and deveined, except for the tail segment)

1 Red chili pepper
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsps Chile oil
2 Tbsps Basil oil
2 Tbsps Lime juice
200 grams Spaghetti

Preparation steps

Rinse the shrimp and pat dry. Rinse the basil, shake dry, pluck off the leaves and chop finely. Rinse the chile, remove seeds and finely chop. Peel the garlic, press into a shallow dish and mix with the two types of oil, lime juice, chile and basil. Mix in the shrimp, cover and chill in the refrigerator about 30 minutes.

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Remove the shrimp from the marinade, drain and cook in a pan for 3-4 minutes while turning. Season slightly with salt. As desired mix in 2-3 tablespoons marinade. Arrange the pasta decoratively on plates using a serving fork and top with the shrimp. As desired drizzle with chile and basil oil and serve immediately.
