20 Zucchini flower
1 kilogram clam
1 onion
1 garlic clove
2 Tbsps olive oil
200 milliliters dry white wine
1 sm can Saffron (0.1 gram)
200 milliliters Vegetable broth
salt
peppers
lemon juice
500 grams wide tubular pasta (such as Paccheri di Gragnano)

Preparation steps

Rinse zucchini flowers carefully, drain on paper towels, pat dry and remove pistils. Rinse and scrub clams thoroughly and drain. Discard any clams that have opened. Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened. Deglaze with wine and stir in saffron. Add clams and cook until all the clams have opened, about 5 minutes. Remove clams from pan and remove from shells if desired. Add zucchini flowers to the pan, bring to a boil and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Return clams to the pan.

Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and fold pasta into the sauce. To serve, divide pasta among plates.
