Preparation steps

1.

Rinse, trim and blanch beans in salted boiling water, about 8 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain well.

In a pot, bring vinegar, 500 ml (approximately 2 cups) water, and the sugar to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Divide beans among sterilized jars and fill with hot pickling liquid. Seal jars tightly and boil in a canning pot for 30 minutes at 90°C (approximately 200°F). Remove hot jars and turn upside down to cool. Store in a cool, dark place.
