300 grams Strawberries
2 Apple
60 grams sugar
2 rolls Puff pastry dough (270 grams)
1 egg yolk

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and clean strawberries, chop. Peel apples, halve and core, cut into cubes. Heat fruit with sugar in a saucepan on low heat, stirring. Once sugar has dissolved, remove from heat.

 Line 4 ovenproof pans with baking paper. Roll out puff pastry and line pans with it, making high edge all around. Cut the rest of pastry into circles to fit pans.

3.

Pour strawberry and apple mixture into pans and cover with remaining pastry. Press the edges together firmly. Whisk egg yolk with 2 tablespoons of water and brush pies with the mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 210°C (approximately 425°F) for about 30-35 mintues or until golden brown. Serve hot or cold.
