200 grams Pumpkin
1 egg
1 Tbsp Potato starch
salt
Nutmeg

Preparation steps

1.

Peel potatoes. Finely grate potatoes and pumpkin flesh and wrap in a damp tea towel. Squeeze towel to remove moisture. Mix grated potatoes and pumpkin with egg and potato starch. Season with salt and nutmeg.

Heat oil in coated pan. Place portions of pumpkin mixture in hot oil, flatten and fry slowly until golden brown, 2-3 minutes. Turn fritters over and fry until golden brown, another 2-3 minutes.

3.

Drain fritters on paper towels. Serve fritters with applesauce.
