Ingredients
for
4
- Ingredients
- 2 Tbsps dried Hibiscus flower
- 24 Ice cubes
- sugar (to taste)
- 1 organic lemon
Preparation steps
1.
Place the flowers with a tea strainer into a teapot and pour in 750 ml (approximately 3 1/4 cups) boiling water. Let stand for 10 minutes, then pour into a pot and add half of the ice so the tea cools faster and retains its beautiful color. Sweeten to taste with sugar. Allow approximately 30 minutes to cool completely in the refrigerator.
2.
Place the remaining ice cubes in glasses. Rinse the lemon in hot water, wipe dry and halve. Cut 4 thin slices and add to the glasses. Squeeze out the juice of the remaining lemon halves, pour into the tea and stir. Pour tea over the ice in the glasses and serve.
