Preparation steps

Trim the rhubarb and cut into 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) pieces. Place the rhubarb in a pot. Slit the vanilla bean lengthwise. Place the vanilla bean, sugar, and orange juice in the pot with the rhubarb. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Remove the vanilla bean, then fill the prepared jars to the brim with the jam.

Seal the jars tightly, and cool completely.
