5 Tbsps powdered sugar
1 pinch salt
0.333 cup unsalted butter (diced)
1 small egg yolk
5 Tbsps chopped Pistachio

1 Baking sheet, 1 Bowl, 3 Small bowls, 1 Plate, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Whisk, 1 Parchment paper, 1 Fine grater, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Kitchen shears

Preparation steps

1.
Mix together the flour, icing sugar and salt in a mixing bowl.

Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the egg yolk and mix to a dough.

Knead in the chopped pistachios. Roll the dough into a log, approximately 3cm|1" in diameter. Wrap in cling film and chill for 2 hours.
4.
Heat the oven to 160°C (140° fan) 325°F gas 3. Line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
5.
Slice the dough into rounds and place on the baking tray. Bake for 15 minutes, until light golden.
6.
Cool on the baking trays for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
