Preparation steps

1.

Heat 1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a pan and fry the sausages in it for about 5 minutes until brown.

2.

In the meantime, rinse the apples, quarter, and cut out the core. Cut the fried sausages in half and wrap along with an apple quarter in a slice of bacon.

3.

Grease a baking dish with butter and put the apple-sausage bundle with the apple side down into it. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 400°F) for about 10 minutes.

4.

Serve the sausage-apple bundle on a wooden board. Serve as desired with baguette.
