1 Savoy cabbage
5 carrots
1 Morteau sausage (400 grams, may substitute ham)
1 l Beef broth (instant powdered)
½ tsp Caraway
1 generous pinch Coriander
salt
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Remove outer leaves of cabbage and discard. Cut cabbage into quarters and remove core. Thinly slice leaves and rinse them in a colander. Peel and dice carrots.

2.

In a pot, bring broth to a boil. Add sausage and simmer about 10 minutes. Remove sausage and cut into slices. Add carrots, cabbage and spices and cook about 5 minutes more. Return sausage slices to soup and cook another 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
