10 fresh garlic cloves
2 stalks Leeks (only the light and dark green portions)

2 Tbsps light soy sauce

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse beef, pat dry and cut into strips. Peel ginger and garlic, dice ginger finely and cut garlic in half. Rinse leek, cut in half lengthwise, trim and cut into about 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) wide strips.

Heat oil in a wok and fry beef with ginger and garlic for 1-2 minutes while stirring until browned. Add leek and a little water. With further stirring, cook for 2-3 minutes and let liquids evaporate.

Season to taste and serve with soy sauce.

Serve with rice if desired.
