3 yellow onion
300 grams fresh button Mushroom
200 grams Mountain cheese
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
100 grams streaky Bacon (diced)
600 grams German egg cookie (Dry-finished product)
salt
1 Tbsp vegetable oil (for the pan)
peppers (freshly ground)

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Peel the onions, halve and cut into thin strips. Rub down the mushrooms with a paper towel and brush off any extra dirt. Slice thinly. Coarsely grate the cheese. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the bacon and the onions, remove and fry the mushrooms in the fat drippings.

Boil the noodles in salted boiling water, drain and leave to drain in a colander for about 5 minutes. Mix the noodles with the onion, the bacon, the mushrooms and half of the cheese. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg, and place in a greased baking dish. Crumble the remaining cheese on top and bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven until the cheese melts. Remove, serve immediately and enjoy.
