80 milliliters olive oil
400 grams Spaghetti
2 tsps grated Lemon peel
salt
freshly ground peppers
40 grams Parmesan (freshly grated)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse basil, shake dry and pluck off leaves from stems.

2.

Chop basil leaves very finely and mix in a bowl with oil and season with salt and pepper.

3.

Cook spaghetti in a pot of boiling salted water until al dente, drain and mix in a bowl with lemon zest and basil mixture.

4.

Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese if desired.
