1 shallot
1 garlic clove
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt

1 tsp sugar
200 grams Spaghetti
1 Tbsp minced Basil

Preparation steps

1.

Blanch the tomatoes for a few seconds, remove from heat, peel, quarter, core and finely dice. Peel and finely chop the shallot and garlic.

2.

Sautée shallot and garlic in oil, add the tomatoes, season with salt, pepper and sugar and let simmer, covered, over low heat for about 15 minutes.

3.

Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

4.

Drain the pasta and mix immediately with the tomato sauce. Serve sprinkled with basil.
