Preparation steps

1.

Peel onion and garlic and finely chop. Sauté onion and garlic in a pan with 1 tablespoon hot oil until translucent. Let cool slightly and mix with egg, parsley and meat. Add breadcrumbs until mixture is easy to shape. Season well with salt, pepper, sherry, cumin, cilantro and nutmeg. Shape mixture into small meatballs.

In a hot skillet (preferably coated), cook meatballs with bay leaves until golden brown for 6-8 minutes.

Serve meatballs hot or cold on toothpicks.
