400 grams mixed Nut (such as Almonds, hazelnuts, walnut halves, peanuts, pistachios)
1 tsp rough Sea salt

Preparation steps

1.

Combine the sugar, the thyme and 2 tablespoons water together in a large non-stick pan without stirring over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add the nuts and cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar caramelizes.

2.

Transfer the mixture from the pan and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. With two forks, pull apart the mixture so the nuts will dry individually, with no clusters. While the nuts dry, sprinkle with a little sea salt.
