500 grams liquid honey
400 grams Pastry flour
100 milliliters milk
125 grams softened butter
4 eggs
150 grams sugar
4 Tbsps vegetable oil
3 Tbsps Sour cream
¼ tsp freshly ground peppers
¼ tsp freshly ground allspice
½ tsp Ground cinnamon
½ tsp Ground clove
2 tsps Baking powder
2 Tbsps chopped Walnut
2 Tbsps chopped dried Figs
2 Tbsps raisins

Preparation steps

1.

Bring the honey to a boil. Mix together the butter, eggs, sugar, oil and sour cream in a bowl. Stir in the honey and hot milk. Mix the flour with baking powder and spices, and stir into the egg mixture. Mix in the the dried figs, raisins and walnuts at the end.

Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan: 160°C, gas mark 2-3) (approximately 350°F) for about 1 hour.
