2 Tbsps light soy sauce
150 grams Pastry flour
1 tsp Baking powder

Preparation steps

Rinse, trim and dry spinach.

Whisk egg with soy sauce and about 200 ml (approximately 1 cup) of ice-cold water. Mix in flour and baking powder quickly so that a thick liquid forms. Drag spinach in portions through batter, let excess drip off and then fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes, in hot oil at 170°C (approximately 350°F). Drain on paper towels and serve.
