600 grams Strawberries
2 Tbsps sugar
2 Tbsps Vanilla sugar
2 Tbsps lemon juice
1 tsp cornstarch
75 milliliters Orange juice
2 Tbsps freshly chopped mint
mint (to garnish)

Preparation steps

Rinse, trim and chop the strawberries. Bring about half of the sugar, vanilla sugar, 1-2 tablespoons of water and lemon juice in a pot to boil. Let simmer for 5-8 minutes on low heat. Add in the orange juice and stir the liquid. Pour in the berries, let simmer 1-2 minutes slightly pudgy, then remove from heat and puree. Mix in the mint.

Spread the remaining berries in glasses and pour the sauce. Allow to cool and serve garnished with mint.
