1 packet Vanilla sugar

2 Tbsps sugar
2 Tbsps ground Hazelnuts
9 ozs (full fat) cream cheese
1 fresh lemon (for juice and zest)
18 ozs Strawberries

Preparation steps

1.

Beat egg whites until stiff, sprinkle with vanilla sugar.

2.

Combine egg yolks with sugar, nuts, cream cheese, lemon zest and juice, mix until smooth, then fold in egg whites gently.

3.

Pour cream into buttered gratin dish (es).

4.

Rinse and dry strawberries, hull and arrange on top of gratin. Bake gratin in a preheated oven  at 200°C /400°F  for about 30 minutes, remove from oven and serve immediately.
