1 kilogram ripe Strawberries (trimmed, rinsed, and weighed)
1 kilogram jam sugar (1:1 ratio)

Preparation steps

1.

Add the strawberries and the jam sugar to a pot. Mix well and set aside for 2 hours to infuse until juice begins to form. Mix in the lemon juice and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes, skimming any foam that rises to the top.

Fill prepared jars to the brim and seal tightly. 

3.

Turn upside down for 15 minutes to cool slightly, then turn right side up and cool completely.
