Preparation steps

1.

Mix the sugar, lavender flowers and 400 ml (approximately 1 1/4 cups) water to a lavender syrup and heat, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in the lemon juice. Trim, rinse and slice the strawberries. In a bowl, pour lavender syrup over the strawberries and let chill for about 2 hours in refrigerator.
