1 pkg Puff pastry dough (frozen, 450 grams)
1 medium egg yolk
2 Tbsps condensed milk
150 grams butter
225 grams Pastry flour
1 pinch cinnamon
80 grams sugar
1 packet Vanilla sugar
225 grams Apricot jam

Preparation steps

Let puff pastry thaw.

Melt butter. Mix flour, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla in a bowl, then add butter and mix to crumble.

From puff pastry, cut rectangles of about 4 x 6 cm (approximately 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches) with a pastry cutter. Place on lined baking sheets. Whisk egg yolks with condensed milk and brush over pastry. Warm apricot jam and brush thinly over dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar crumbs, then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for 12–15 minutes. Let cool and serve.
