Ingredients

- 1 kilogram Swiss chard
- salt
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 Chicken breasts (each about 120 grams)
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- Nutmeg
- freshly ground peppers
- 100 milliliters Whipped cream
- 100 grams Crème fraiche
- 100 grams grated Cheese (such as Comté)
Preparation steps
Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 375°F).
Rinse Swiss chard, wipe dry, tear leaves from stems and cut all into strips. Blanch stalks in salted water for 1-2 minutes, then add leaves and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Rinse with cold water and drain well.
Peel onion and garlic. Cut the onion into strips and cut the garlic into slices. Rinse the chicken breasts, pat dry and cut into strips. Sauté the onion and garlic in hot oil. Mix in the chicken and cook briefly, then mix with the Swiss chard. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and spoon into a baking dish.
Mix the cream with the creme fraiche and cheese, season wtih salt, pepper and nutmeg and pour over the chard mixture. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
