Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the watercress, trim and shake dry. Cut avocados in half, remove the pits, scoop the flesh and cut into bite-sized pieces. Mix avocados with the juice of 1 lime.

2.

Peel cucumber, cut into quarters lengthwise and slice. Mix cucumber with the juice and zest of 1 lime. Stir in the freshly chopped herbs. Season with salt and pepper.

3.

Cut the fish into bite-sized pieces. Rinse the remaining limes thoroughly, peel the onions and cut both into wedges. Alternately thread fish pieces with the onion and lime wedges on wooden skewers. Drizzle with the marinade and marinate for 30 minutes.

4.

Grill skewers on a hot barbeque grill for  5-7 minutes. Mix the watercress, avocados, and cucumber with oil and season with salt and pepper. Spread on plates, top with the fish skewers and serve immediately.
