- 7 egg yolks
- 250 grams powdered sugar
- 600 grams Mascarpone
- ½ lemon (zested and juiced)
- 2 Tbsps Rum
- 125 grams melted butter
- 1 Pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
- 125 milliliters strong Coffee
- 2 Tbsps cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp powdered sugar
- 200 grams Whipped cream
Preparation steps
1.
Mix the yolks with the powdered sugar until fluffy. Mix the mascarpone with the egg mixture, lemon juice, zest, rum, and melted butter.

Cut the torte base into three slices and brush the bottom layer with the coffee.
3.
Spread 1/3 of the mascarpone cream on the bottom layer.
4.
Place another layer of the torte base on top of the cream. Repeat with the remaining cream and torte layer.
5.
Completely coat cake with the remaining cream. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon cocoa and powdered sugar.
6.
Whip the cream until stiff and decorate the top of the cake with whip cream rosettes.
7.
Dust with the remaining cocoa powder. Cut into slices and serve slightly chilled.
