Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the figs, pat dry and remove the stems. Cut 12 pieces of figs into thin slices and cut 4 in half lengthwise.

Ground the red pepper in a mortar.
3.
Cut the tofu into slices and transfer to plates. Place the fig slices and halves and sprinkle with red pepper.
