1 kilogram Tomatoes
500 grams jam sugar (2:1 ratio)
1 Lime (juiced)
300 grams Cherry tomatoes
100 milliliters gin
2 sprigs oregano
salt
1 pinch Chili powder

Preparation steps

1.

Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water. Remove the tomatoes from the water and peel. Cut into quarters, remove the core, and puree. Add the puree to a saucepan. Mix in the sugar and lime juice and bring to a boil. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes. 

2.

Rinse and quarter the cherry tomatoes. Remove the leaves from the oregano. Add the tomatoes, gin and the oregano leaves into the jam, and season with salt and chili powder. 

3.

Fill the prepared jars to the brim with the jam. Seal tightly, and cool completely.
