- ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp Mixed spice
- 1 ½ tsps Baking powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- 4 Tbsps Golden syrup (plus more to serve)

2 Pots mit Deckel, 1 Bowl, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Sieve, 1 Mortar, 8 Toothpicks, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Non-stick pan, 1 eventuell Slotted spoon, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Paper towel, 1 Slotted spatula
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 160ºC (140C fan) 325ºF, gas 3.

Beat together the flour, cinnamon, mixed spice, baking powder, eggs, sugar and butter in a large bowl.

Butter 4 dariole moulds and place a tablespoon of golden syrup in the bottom of each. Divide the mixture between the moulds then cover each with a double layer of foil.

Place a rack in a deep roasting pan and fill the pan with boiling water to a depth of about 5 cm/2". Place the dariole moulds on the rack and place in the oven. Bake for about 1 hour, topping up the water if necessary. Test with a wooden toothpick, if it comes out clean, the pudding are done.

Let cool a little, then turn the puddings out and pour over a little more syrup.
