- softened butter (for the baking pan)
- 500 grams predominantly waxy potatoes
- 300 grams carrots
- 200 grams Parsnips
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 eggs
- 100 milliliters Whipped cream
- 150 milliliters milk
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 tsp Caraway
- 1 tsp flaxseed
- 130 grams grated Emmentaler cheese
Preparation steps

Butter baking pan. Peel potatoes, carrots and parsnips and cut into about 2 cm cubes (approximately 3/4 inch). Peel garlic and squeeze into a large bowl. Add eggs, cream and milk to garlic and whisk well. Season with salt, pepper and cumin powder, add flaxseed. Arrange vegetables in the baking dish and pour cream mixture over. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approxmately 400°F) for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese and bake for 25 minutes more. Serve.
