Preparation steps

Rinse and dry the grapes. Line the bottom of a springform pan with parchment paper, grease the ring and dust with flour. Toast the oatmeal in a dry pan until fragrant. Beat the butter until fluffy in a bowl with an electric hand mixer. Add the sugar alternating with the egg and mix well. Stir the flour together with the ground walnuts, oatmeal, and baking soda and add to the cake batter along with the grapes. Pour the mixture into the pan, smooth the surface and bake on the bottom rack of a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for approximately 1 hour. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the ring and leave to cool fully on a plate.

To serve, beat the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff and decorate the cake with 12 swirls topped with walnut halves.
