In addition to the immune booster vitamin C, oranges provide provitamin A; this is the precursor of vitamin A, which is important for strong vision and beautiful skin. Dark chocolate contains flavonoids that balance blood pressure and protect against deposits in the blood vessels. Certain plant dyes also have a positive effect on the blood sugar level.
If you don't have an ice cream machine, you can also prepare the ice cream more easily: To do this, put the ice cream in a bowl and place it in the freezer. If the mass is stirred every 30 minutes for approx. 3 hours, a creamy chocolate soy ice cream is produced.
Ingredients
- For the ice cream
- 50 grams white Chocolate
- 50 grams sugar
- 100 milliliters Whipped cream
- 1 splash lemon juice
- 300 grams Vanilla soy yogurt
- 1 generous pinch ground cinnamon
- For the orange sauce
- 2 centiliters Orange liqueur
- 20 grams powdered sugar
- 3 Oranges
- 4 Scented geranium leaves (Lemon taste)
- For the garnish
- Chocolate sauce
- Orange peel (blanched, quenched cold, well-drained)
Preparation steps
For the ice cream: Melt chocolate, sugar and cream in a saucepan over low heat. Stir yogurt, lemon juice and cinnamon into chocolate mixture. Pour into the ice cream maker and process until creamy.
For the sauce: Combine orange liqueur and powdered sugar in a bowl and mix. Carefully peel oranges with a sharp knife, removing the white skin. Separate fruit fillets and add to liqueur mixture.
Scoop ice cream and form balls. Garnish with orange sauce, chocolate sauce and orange zest. Serve immediately.
