Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 220°C (approximately 425°F).

Sift flour into a bowl. Season with salt and beat in egg. Pour about 60 ml (approximately 1/4 cup) of water and stir with milk until a smooth, thick batter forms. Let rest and grease wells of a muffin baking tray with oil. Place in oven until hot, about 5-10 minutes.

Then carefully pour batter into wells. Bake until golden brown and airy, about 10-15 minutes. Remove, cool and serve.
