1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation steps

1.

Whip the egg whites and salt until very stiff. Continue beating, gradually whisking in the powdered sugar and lemon juice. Fold in the ground almonds and cinnamon.

Roll out the dough until 5 mm (approximately 1/4 inch) thick and cut out 30 stars. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3.

Press 1 almond in the center of each star and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (approximately 325°F) for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and then transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
